Harlands Primary School

Brief
Harlands Primary School, based in Haywards Heath, approached Prism Creative to design and build a website, which would help distinguish itself from other schools in the area.
Solution
Prism Creative undertook a number of website workshops that enabled us to gather information from each of the School’s target audience – such as Governors, teachers, pupils, parents etc. In these focus groups we identified how each audience type would like to engage with the website, what functionality they would like and how they would like to see it expand. The findings from these workshops enabled us to map out and create the sites’ architecture and technical specification.
Working with their current identity, we then designed and implemented a content managed website that allows key members of staff to create, edit and delete content on a daily basis, ensuring that the website stays fresh and relevant for all visitors.
Since the website was launched the School has found that every audience type has engaged online and commented on how effective the site is for communicating key messages. It has also proven to be a fantastic channel to celebrate Harland’s success with a wider audience.
